Cutting Mortise and Tenon Joints
The mortise and tenon joint. One of the most frequently used woodworking
joints. It offers strength to pieces joined together, usually on an angle, most often a ninety degree angle.
With some practice these joint are not complicated, or out out the ability range to even beginner woodworkers.
They can be made with very basic hand tools, or dedicated machinery.
